Radio Kingston Website Design

Radio Kingston is a noncommercial platform dedicated to a vibrant, just and healthy Kingston centered around community storytelling, artistic and musical expression, conversation and connection.

Moonfarmer has been working with Radio Kingston to develop their website. We are working in an agile process, so this project is ongoing. We launched the first version of the site the first week of November, and we continue to develop and build new features.

I primarily work on the project as a UX designer, but I also have gotten to do graphic design and illustration for the project (check out those little drawings of buildings in Midtown Kingston in the page header!)

What I love most on this site is how you can listen to the livestream right on the site, with no interruption when you navigate pages. Also, as someone who is really into seamless inclusive experiences, I am excited about the work the developers did to make it so you can seamlessly switch languages without re-loading the page.
