The Book Booth: America's Littlest Library

In 2011 I spearheaded a fun project in Clinton Corners. Asked owners of a disused UK phone booth, if I could upcycle it into a community book exchange. Approached our library with the idea, married library to phone booth, secured funding and volunteers (okay it was my kids) and transformed an empty cast iron box into a lovely ever changing quasi art exhibit book recycling station. Not sure if I can claim exclusive ownership to word "readcycling", my word to describe book exchanges. Bonus Points because my name became a hashtag on HuffPost.
